FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
The Commission of Independent Education, Statute 1005.06(1) (f), Florida Statutes states:
A religious college may operate without governmental
oversight if the college annually verifies by sworn affidavit
to the commission that. . .”
We are following the Commission’s guidelines (1-5). Therefore, our school
is in agreement with the Commission’s rulings and in compliance with the statutes of the State of Florida. This law was declared effective as of January 7, 2003.
For purposes of clarification and validation, the above stated document is on file at the school’s office for public review. Further, LBCS is in compliance with Rule 6E-2.004 (Duration of Degree Programs), and Statute 1005.4 regarding fair consumer practices. Under Statute 1005.06(1) (f), we waive the process of licensure.
